FAQ
Questions,
answered.
The essentials before you choose your name.
What is a Monogram name?
A human-readable name like azeem.mi that points to your Miden account. Register and transfer it here; sending directly to names requires support from the wallet you use.
What's the difference between .mi and .miden?
Nothing but taste. Both suffixes work the same way and cost the same. azeem.mi and azeem.miden are separate names, so you can grab one or both.
Do I ever have to renew?
No. You pay once and the name is yours. There is no expiry date and no yearly fee.
Can I get a refund?
Registrations are final. Once a name is yours, the payment is not refundable. If a name can't be issued, for example because someone else registered it a moment before you, your payment is returned to your wallet automatically.
Why are some names reserved?
A small list of well-known names is held back to prevent impersonation. Everything else is first come, first served.
Which characters can I use?
Lowercase letters a–z and digits 0–9, 3 to 15 characters. One- and two-character names are reserved.
What do I need to register?
Bread Wallet on the network shown above, enough of the displayed payment token, and Miden’s native token for network fees.
